Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the study of hadith, enabling widespread access to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW through various online platforms. This digitalization has made it easier to study and disseminate hadith, particularly among the younger generation. However, this ease of access also poses serious challenges, such as the spread of false hadith and low levels of Islamic digital literacy in society. This article examines the issues of authenticity and validity of hadith in the digital age, highlighting the importance of education and scientific verification to preserve the purity of Islamic teachings. Using a qualitative method through literature review, this study proposes a solution involving collaboration between scholars, hadith experts, and technology specialists in developing a digital validation system and improving the digital literacy of the Muslim community. The findings of this study emphasize that the digitization of hadith must be balanced with scientific responsibility so that it can serve as an educational tool that preserves the integrity of the Prophet's Sunnah.
