This community service program was conducted at SMA Al Karimi Tebuwung as an effort to address students’ low confidence in expressing their opinions orally during English language learning. Although students had previously studied the topic of Expressions of Asking and Giving Opinion, their verbal participation and self-confidence remained relatively low. The program introduced an innovative and simple learning medium called One Paper Plane, One Question, One Brave Opinion, which integrates the principles of the Love-Based Curriculum through equal opportunities to speak, a psychologically safe learning environment, and positive reinforcement for every student’s opinion. The program employed a participatory approach involving the partner teacher in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants consisted of 30 tenth-grade students (Class X-A). Evaluation was carried out through speaking tests, observations of verbal participation, and self-confidence questionnaires. The results showed an increase in the average speaking score from 65.75 to 81.25, an improvement in verbal participation from 40% to 93%, and a rise in self-confidence scores from 2.7 to 4.2 on a five-point scale. In addition to benefiting students, the program also enhanced teachers’ capacity to implement participatory learning strategies that can be easily adapted to other learning materials. These findings indicate that a simple learning medium based on active participation can effectively foster students’ confidence in expressing their opinions while supporting the sustainability of instructional innovation in partner schools.
Ikhya'ul FarokhSudarwanti SudarwantiMiftahul Huda

Strengthening local wisdom through primary education is a strategic effort to foster students’ character while preserving regional culture. However, art learning activities in schools are still largely limited to simple practices and have not provided sufficient opportunities for students to engage in hands-on experiences that integrate creativity, practical skills, and an understanding of local culture. One of the challenges faced by MIN 3 Banyuwangi is the lack of project-based activities that can simultaneously enhance students’ creativity and introduce Banyuwangi’s local wisdom in a practical and meaningful way. This community service program aimed to improve students’ creativity, collaborative skills, and understanding of local culture through flat printmaking training based on Banyuwangi local wisdom. The program was conducted in February 2026 and involved 87 fifth-grade students of MIN 3 Banyuwangi. The implementation stages included needs assessment, socialization, group formation, practical printmaking activities using wooden cutting boards as the printing medium, an art exhibition, and program evaluation through participatory observation. The results showed that all student groups successfully produced printmaking artworks inspired by Banyuwangi cultural themes, including Gajah Oling batik motifs, Gandrung and Seblang traditional performances, and other local cultural icons. In addition to enhancing students’ creativity and fine motor skills, the program also strengthened their collaboration, self confidence, and appreciation of local culture. The exhibition held at the end of the program provided students with basic entrepreneurial experience and fostered the values embodied in the Pancasila Student Profile. Therefore, local wisdom-based flat printmaking training can serve as an alternative program for character development and the preservation of local culture within the madrasah environment.
Erisy Syawiril AmmahSudarsri LestariAtiqatul MusyarofahNur Hermatasiyah

Bullying in elementary school environments remains a significant issue that can hinder students’ character development, mental health, and social interactions. Initial observations and interviews with school representatives revealed that many students at SDN 01 Kemiri and SDN 02 Kemiri had not yet fully understood the various forms of bullying and their impacts on victims and the school environment. Therefore, this community service program aimed to enhance students’ understanding and awareness of bullying prevention through an empathy-based educational approach. The program was implemented at SDN 01 Kemiri and SDN 02 Kemiri through several stages, including problem identification, coordination with school authorities, preparation of educational materials, interactive socialization sessions, group discussions, question-and-answer activities, and program evaluation. The materials covered the definition of bullying, its various forms, the consequences of bullying, and strategies for prevention and reporting bullying incidents. The results indicated that students developed a better understanding of bullying behavior, were able to identify common forms of bullying occurring in the school environment, and demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of mutual respect in creating a safe learning atmosphere. Furthermore, the program fostered a shared commitment among students and school stakeholders to support the development of a child-friendly and bullying-free school culture. This empathy-based anti-bullying socialization program can serve as an effective preventive strategy for strengthening character education in elementary schools.
Bayu Restu AdityaNur Azmi WiantinaFebri DahliaHaura Fidiyah Asy SyahidahNabila Yunita SariLaeli MaharaniPahrudin Pahrudin

Bullying remains a prevalent issue in elementary school environments and has negative impacts on students’ social-emotional development, academic achievement, and psychological well-being. Based on the needs assessment conducted at SDN Pasilian 01, aggressive behavior among students was still identified, which was influenced by limited understanding of the impacts of bullying and the lack of optimal prevention and intervention strategies implemented by the school. This community service program aimed to implement guidance and counseling services through the Stop Bullying Program to enhance anti-bullying awareness, social skills, and the creation of a safe and inclusive school environment. The program was carried out using a participatory approach through socialization activities, group guidance and counseling services, student mentoring, and collaboration with teachers and parents. Program evaluation was conducted through observations, interviews, and documentation throughout the implementation process. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of bullying, increased participation in anti-bullying discussions, and the development of mutual respect in daily interactions. Furthermore, the program strengthened the collaboration between the school and parents in supporting sustainable bullying prevention efforts. Therefore, the implementation of guidance and counseling services through the Stop Bullying Program can serve as an effective strategy for fostering a safe, supportive, and child-friendly school culture that promotes students’ overall development.
Alya FatihaPutri NurinaAceng Akhmad Munanzdar Alkafi Billah BillahDesi SetiyadiDina PanisaKamilatusolihah Kamilatusolihah

The quality of learning in Islamic elementary schools (madrasahs) is greatly influenced by teachers’ ability to design meaningful and student-centered learning experiences. Based on preliminary observations conducted at MI Nurul Falahiyah, Tangerang Regency, the learning process was still predominantly characterized by a teacher-centered approach focused on content delivery, which had not yet optimally fostered students’ critical and reflective thinking skills. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding and pedagogical competence through a deep learning workshop. The program was implemented using a participatory-educational approach consisting of needs assessment, program preparation, workshop implementation, interactive discussions, and reflective evaluation. The participants were all teachers of MI Nurul Falahiyah. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and participant reflections and were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings revealed an improvement in teachers’ understanding of the deep learning concept, a shift in teaching paradigms from knowledge transmission toward meaningful learning, and increased motivation to implement instructional strategies that promote students’ critical, reflective, and contextual thinking skills.
The rapid advancement of digital technology and the increasing intensity of children's social interactions within the school environment have introduced various parenting challenges, including the risks of bullying and excessive gadget dependency. Preliminary observations conducted at SDN Rancalabuh 01, Kemiri District, Tangerang Regency, revealed that parents' understanding of positive parenting practices in the digital era remains limited. In addition, there is a pressing need to strengthen students' awareness of anti-bullying behavior. This community service program aimed to enhance the understanding of both parents and students regarding positive parenting as a preventive strategy against bullying and gadget dependency among elementary school children. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of problem identification, program planning, implementation of a parenting seminar and anti-bullying awareness campaign, and evaluation through pre-tests, post-tests, and reflective discussions. The participants included teachers, parents or guardians, and sixth-grade students of SDN Rancalabuh 01.
