Ar-Rum: 41 with appropriate technologies, namely maggot cultivation and rocket stove construction. The main problems faced by the partners are the low public awareness in managing household waste, especially organic and plastic waste, as well as the absence of a sustainable community-based waste management system. The implementation method used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving 12 students and village residents alternately for 45 days (July 7 – August 20, 2026). Activities included the socialization of Qur'anic values on environmental conservation, maggot cultivation education starting from attracting BSF flies to harvesting, and the collective construction of a rocket stove from used drums behind the head of village's office. The results showed an increase in residents' understanding of the relationship between environmental damage and human actions from 20% to 80%, maggot production of 1-2 kg per week used as animal feed, and one unit of rocket stove capable of reducing waste mass by up to 98% with only 2% ash residue. This program was inaugurated and handed over to the village government to be managed independently by the residents. This activity proves that an approach based on religious values, active community participation, and simple technologies using local materials can create a sustainable and empowering waste management program.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Servicehttps://newjurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/khadimulmujtama/article/view/1045Optimalisasi Pembinaan Keagamaan Anak melalui Integrasi Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dan Ibadah Dasar2026-05-29T20:00:58+07:00Ahmad Jamiljameel.daqu@gmail.comRaudhatuz Zahra raudhatuzzahra5@gmail.comSyalfadhila Akmaliasyl.dh.akmalia19@gmail.comNasiroh Wardatul Kamilah nwardatulk03@gmail.com
Religious education for children plays an important role in developing religious character from an early age. However, many Qur’anic learning centers still face limitations in integrating Qur’anic instruction with basic worship practices, which affects the effectiveness of religious development programs. This community service activity was conducted at TPQ Al-Ikhwaniyah in Rancalabuh Village, Kemiri District, Tangerang Regency, involving 47 students aged 4–18 years over a period of three weeks. The program aimed to improve religious education through the integration of Qur’anic reading instruction, basic worship practices, character education, and Islamic learning assistance. The implementation methods included preliminary observation, learning assistance, worship practice sessions, moral education, and evaluation through participatory observation and interviews with TPQ administrators. The results indicated increased student participation, improved Qur’anic reading skills, better understanding of ablution and prayer procedures, and enhanced learning motivation among participants. In addition, the provision of Qur’anic learning facilities contributed to a more conducive learning environment. The findings suggest that integrating Qur’anic learning with basic worship practices is an effective approach to strengthening children’s religious development in rural communities.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Servicehttps://newjurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/khadimulmujtama/article/view/1020Edukasi Berbasis Al-Qur'an dan Hadis untuk Membangun Kesadaran Perempuan tentang Ketenangan Jiwa dalam Keluarga2026-05-29T20:04:17+07:00Ulfah Zakiyahulfahzakiyah1@gmail.comFalika Nahwa Rosyawalykafa0718@gmail.comLeni Wahyuni Lubisleniwahyunilubis06@gmail.com
The emotional well-being of women as wives and mothers is a fundamental pillar in building safe and harmonious families. In Bakung Village, Kronjo Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency, preliminary observations and interviews with community leaders revealed that most young mothers lacked adequate understanding of the concept of women’s inner peace from an Islamic perspective, particularly as derived from the Qur’an and Hadith. Women tended to perceive inner peace as an individual responsibility rather than a shared value to be cultivated collectively within family relationships. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding of young mothers in Bakung Village regarding the concept of women’s inner peace based on the Qur’an and Hadith as a foundation for building safe families. The activity was conducted through interactive lectures, group discussions, and structured reflection sessions at Mushola Daarussalam, involving 27 participants. Evaluation was carried out through structured observation and reflective discussions guided by open-ended questions. The results demonstrated a meaningful shift in participants’ perspectives: they began to understand that Islam honors women and places their inner peace as a fundamental objective of marriage, and became aware that husbands and all family members share collective responsibility in nurturing that peace. This activity contributed to strengthening the community’s religious literacy and is recommended to be continued with more varied participatory approaches.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Servicehttps://newjurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/khadimulmujtama/article/view/1002Pembinaan Generasi Islami melalui Murajaah Surat Pendek dan Shalat Dhuha dalam Pesantren Kilat di Desa Rancalabuh, Kabupaten Tangerang2026-05-29T20:05:53+07:00Mohamad Mualimrizki161102@gmail.comMuhammad Zainudin aazenlombok@gmail.comMucholik Amin Rizkimucholikamin@gmail.comSulkhiShodiqjafar326@gmail.com
This community service activity was carried out to address the need for religious guidance among children in Rancalabuh Village, Tangerang Regency, who still require stronger support in reading, memorizing, and consistently practicing daily worship. The purpose of the program was to foster an Islamic generation through the murojaah of short Qur’anic chapters and the habituation of Dhuha prayer within a pesantren kilat program. The implementation method used a structured, participatory, and repetitive habituation approach consisting of preparation, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The participants were elementary school-age children and early adolescents from the Rancalabuh community, supported by parents, community leaders, and local prayer facility administrators. The results showed improvements in participants’ ability to read and memorize short Qur’anic chapters more fluently and confidently, along with better understanding and discipline in performing Dhuha prayer. The program also fostered worship awareness, responsibility, and self-control among the children. Therefore, the pesantren kilat proved effective as a means of Islamic character building that can be sustained through collaboration between families and the community.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Servicehttps://newjurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/khadimulmujtama/article/view/1057Peningkatan Peningkatan Pemahaman Keislaman Masyarakat melalui Pengabdian Berbasis Ushuluddin di Desa Pasilian, Tangerang2026-05-29T19:59:05+07:00Muhammad Ghifarimuhghifari@idaqu.ac.idDiski Farihatul Anamjameel.daqu@gmail.comNuriya Safitriqonitasalsabillaanwar55@gmail.com
This community service was motivated by the limited understanding of Islamic teachings among the community of Pasilian Village, Tangerang Regency, particularly regarding moral values in social life. The partners faced declining intensity of moral education within families and the influence of digital media on children's behavior. The objective was to improve Islamic understanding through an Ushuluddin-based approach emphasizing Qur'anic and Hadith-based moral values. The participatory method involved 85 participants including religious leaders, mosque administrators, parents, and children. Activities included Hadith study sessions, Mobile Qur'an, TPA (Qur'an education for children), Islamic spiritual activities (Rohis), and regular Yasin recitations on Friday nights over two months (June–August 2024). Evaluation used pretest-posttest, participatory observation, and interviews. Success indicators were a minimum 30% increase in understanding scores and 75% participation rate. Results showed the average moral understanding score increased from 54.2 to 81.6 (50.6% increase). Participation reached 82%. Behavioral changes included improved discipline in congregational prayers and polite language use. This service contributes to building ethical awareness in the community and provides a replicable Ushuluddin-based service model. Recommendations include establishing village religious cadres.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Servicehttps://newjurnal.idaqu.ac.id/index.php/khadimulmujtama/article/view/1026Peningkatan Kualitas Bacaan Al-Qur’an melalui Metode Talaqqi di TBM Hajah Ambo2026-05-29T20:02:37+07:00Khoirun Nidhomabufayha.nidhom@gmail.comM Fahrel Hidayatfahrelhidayat19@gmail.comMila Kamilafahrelhidayat19@gmail.com
This community service was motivated by the partner’s problem at TBM (Reading Park) Hajah Ambo in Patramanggala Village, Kemiri District, Tangerang Regency, namely the low quality of students’ Qur’anic reading, especially in letter pronunciation (makharij), mad, and ghunnah, as well as the unstructured memorization system. The objective was to improve the quality of reading and the quantity of Qur’anic memorization of 23 children aged 7-12 years through the application of the talaqqi method. The implementation methods included initial observation, intensive mentoring for 8 weeks (June–July 2025) in three stages (reading improvement, memorization quality improvement, memorization quantity addition), and evaluation using pretest, posttest, and summative exams. Success indicators: a minimum 30% increase in reading quality score and a target of 5 children memorizing Surah An-Naba’ (40 verses). Results showed that the average reading quality score increased from 54.2 to 81.6 (50.6% increase). A total of 5 children (21.7%) succeeded in memorizing 40 verses, 3 children (13.0%) memorized 25 verses, and 15 children (65.2%) memorized 20 verses. The talaqqi method effectively improved the pronunciation of letters such as dzal and jim and increased learning motivation. Real impacts: students became more disciplined in memorization deposits and teachers began applying this method independently. Recommendations for follow-up: advanced training for teachers and addition of assistant staff.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Service
